Just in time for St. Patrick’s Day, Celtic Nights, Ireland’s acclaimed showcase ensemble for music and dance, is returning to the United States in 2018 for a coast-to-coast tour.
Their new production, Celtic Nights: Oceans of Hope conveys the classic story of dreams of a better place, liberty, freedom, and above all, family. It is the story of people moving across oceans from diverse nations to free themselves from hunger, war, persecution, and famine to find a better place. This stunning performance expertly weaves together the lilting melodies and plaintive lyrics of the rich Celtic Heritage to tell an epic story of a people through song, music, dance and narration.
This message of who the Irish are and the great journeys of their ancestors will leave you believing that the stories of all of our grandparents, great grandparents and beyond should always be passed down through the generations. With this show, the Irish cultural tradition not only continues, it renews and brings it forward to the next generations to come. It is the perfect way to celebrate the St. Patrick’s Day Season!
