
Salinas, CA – The City of Salinas announced one of the largest **City** celebrations in decades set for Saturday, April 14th from 9AM to 3PM as Founders Day. The event is free and family friendly. It is co-sponsored by more than two dozen historical and community organizations. There are more than (80) vendors confirmed and (3) stages of entertainment set that will include music, drama, dance and historical lectures. The various museums will be open free of charge as well.
The Opening Ceremonies are set for 11AM and will include local dignitaries and historical presentations.
