Floristán has also performed at the Verbier Festival, the Santander Music and Academy Encounter and the Les Arcs Festival, where he played with the famed Fine Arts Quartet.

Floristán began studying piano at age ten under his mother, María Floristán, his primary teacher and mentor, and from there began to work with great musicians such as Daniel Barenboim, Nelson Goerner, Ana Guijarro, Claudio Martínez-Mehner, Menahem Pressler, Stephen Kovacevich, Klaus Hellwig, Ralfh Gothoni, Jacques Zoone, Marta Gulyas, Frans Helmerson, Horacio Gutiérrez and Ferenc Rados. However, it was professor Galina Eguiazarova who, during four years at the Reina Sofía School of Music, ultimately defined Floristán’s path.
h
In 2016, the City Hall of Seville awarded Floristán the City Medal and the Paradise Prize of the Asociación de Amigos of the Royal Symphony Orchestra in Seville. He currently continues his studies at Berlin’s Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” with Eldar Nebolsin, supported by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation and Juventudes Musicales in Madrid.
