An afternoon of amazing blues acts and local craft beer, wine, and food offerings will take over the lakebed area of the Laguna Seca Recreation Area for the Red, White and Blues Festival. The rockin’ lineup features British guitar virtuoso and Blues Hall-of-Famer Matt Schofield who will headline the show with The Matt Schofield Trio’s innovative blend of blues, funk, and jazz. After five studio albums and over a decade of touring, the six-string wunderkind is set to rock the Monterey Peninsula.

The blues lineup also includes Elektric Voodoo and Operation Rock Featuring Dennis Murphy. Elektric Voodoo is back by popular demand after taking the Laguna Seca Recreation Area by storm during the Blues & Blues festival last fall.

Who’s Pouring: Breweries such as Carmel Craft Brewing, English Ales, Discretion Brewing, Alvarado Street Brewing, Ratel Ciders, and Peter B’s will be pouring their finest brews. And, a host of wineries from the Monterey area will be providing “red and white” for the occasion.

Time & Cost: Gates open at 2 p.m. with music starting at 3:00. It’s just $35 per person and admission includes souvenir mug and beverage coupon. Children 15 and under are free with a paying adult.
