More than 300 students, staff and family members from Cesar Chavez Elementary School to participate

 

SHN To Donate $10,000 to support the next generation of Latino Youth in performing arts

 

Jamestown Community Center, Cesar Chavez Elementary and the cast of ON YOUR FEET! The Emilio & Gloria Estefan Musical playing at the SHN Golden Gate Theatre Sept. 11- Oct. 7, will host a Latino Hispanic Heritage Month celebration to highlight the achievements of Latinos in the arts.

The celebration will feature appearances from the cast of “ON YOUR FEET!” including an exclusive Q&A and Conga Dance Lesson with students from Cesar Chavez Elementary School, and a performance from the Loco Bloco Performance ensemble.

The Cast of ON YOUR FEET! and SHN will also announce a special financial contribution to Jamestown and Cesar Chavez Elementary for the development and support of the next generation of Latino youth in the performing arts. SHN will also be donating 150 complimentary tickets to Jamestown and Cesar Chavez families to attend the Thursday, September 13 8pm performance of ON YOUR FEET!
