Jessica Rothe está al frente del elenco que regresa en HAPPY DEATH DAY 2U, la continuación del sorpresivo éxito de Blumhouse (Split, Get Out, la franquicia de The Purge) pleno de fascinantes vueltas de tuerca y giros humorísticos. En esta ocasión, nuestra heroína Tree Gelbman (Rothe) descubre que morir una y otra vez le resulta sorprendentemente más fácil que enfrentar los peligros que se avecinan.

Jason Blum produce nuevamente y Christopher Landon regresa para escribir y dirigir este nuevo capítulo, mientras que a los productores ejecutivos de Happy Death DayAngela Mancuso y John Baldecchi se suma el nuevo integrante del equipo, el productor ejecutivo Samson Mucke (Scouts Guide to the Zombie Apocalypse).
