SAN FRANCISCO, CA (March 1, 2019) – Ali Wong is quietly becoming one of the top-selling stand-up comics in the United States. Currently on The Milk & Money Tour, Wong has already sold out multiple shows in the Northwest, Midwest and the South. “I didn’t expect my tour to be like this afterHARD KNOCK WIFE,” said Wong. Due to overwhelming demand in California, today she announced a residency in San Francisco, produced by Live Nation. In December, Wong will finish the year with a week of shows at The Masonic in her hometown, San Francisco. Her San Francisco residency starts Saturday, December 21st runs until Saturday, December 28th. When asked why she doesn’t play venues larger than 3,500 capacity, Wong responded, “It would a be a lot easier if I did. Then I could do 1 show instead of 10. But for me, 3,500 just feels too big. You really lose intimacy with the audience. And that intimacy is what makes live stand-up shows so magical.”
