STARZ RELEASES SEASON TWO TRAILER FOR ORIGINAL SERIES “VIDA”

The Full Second Season of “Vida” is Available Thursday, May 23 on the STARZ App

 

Santa Monica, Calif., May 2, 2019 – Starz, a Lionsgate company (NYSE: LGF.A, LGF.B), today released the official trailer for Season Two of Original Series “Vida.” The second season of the award-winning and criticallyacclaimed series will make its world premiere tonight as an Official Selection of the 2019 Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

In a display of cross-platform synergy, the complete first season of “Vida” is also launching today for the first time on Lionsgate’s premium Spanish-language streaming service PANTAYA and with Spanish subtitles.

All 10 half-hour episodes of “Vida” Season Two will be made available beginning on Thursday, May 23 on the STARZ app and STARZ On-Demand in the U.S. and Canada, as well as on STARZPLAY in the U.K., Germany and Spain. In addition to the full-season release of “Vida” on the STARZ app, STARZ On-Demand and STARZPLAY, “Vida” will air weekly on STARZ beginning on Sunday, May 26, 2019 at 9 PM ET/PT.

In the second season of “Vida,” Lyn (Melissa Barrera) and Emma (Mishel Prada) begin the monumental task of rebuilding their mother’s business while navigating financial constraints, competing developers and the growing anti-gentrification movement. Lyn and Emma must contemplate the relationships in their lives, including their own, and they are forced to dig deep to unearthwhat their mother’s legacy means to them. “Vida” also stars Ser Anzoategui, Chelsea Rendon, Carlos Miranda and Roberta Colindrez.

“Vida” is created by Tanya Saracho, who executive produced the series alongside Beach TV’s Robin Schwartz, Peter Saraf and Marc Turtletaub, as well as Stephanie Langhoff.
