With it’s roots originating in the 1940s and 50s, the Gilroy Rodeo has reemerged as a not-for-profit weekend long rodeo centered around keeping western heritage alive.

As a nonprofit, it is the Gilroy Rodeo mission to put on a community event that that reaches much further than the rodeo attendees and contestants.We want to serve as a vessel for local organizations to raise funds for their programs, earn community service hours, and form partnerships that benefit local charities. It is our long term goal to establish an operating budget that allows for additional revenue to be given as scholarships and monetary support to agriculture based youth groups. When all the dust has settled, the Gilroy Rodeo hopes to enrich the area for many years to come.
