Fab Lab El Paso is launching a brand new program, the first-of-its-kind in our community: FabTech!

Brought to you by Fab Lab and the City of El Paso, FabTech is an 8-week, hands-on program designed to jumpstart your tech career. You’ll earn your 3D Printing Master Badge and a $2,500 stipend! The hybrid program will cover digital design basics, FDM 3D printing intricacies, and more. From additive manufacturing to CAD design, our program equips you for success in the digital age.

Led by Fab Lab STEM instructors, the program seamlessly combines in-person and online sessions every Saturday from January 20th to March 9th. After graduation, showcase your diverse project portfolio and explore internship opportunities with local businesses. Don’t miss out — apply now and reshape your tech future with FabTech!

Program Details

–8-week Additive Manufacturing Training Program: Hybrid format, Saturdays 12pm – 3pm 

–Stipend: Upon completion, students will earn $2,500

–3D Printing Master Badge: Students will earn a digital badge recognized by the Department of Labor

–Internship and Apprenticeship Opportunities: Program graduates will gain opportunities with local businesses and nonprofits, including Fab Lab El Paso

–In-Person Location: Microsoft El Paso Innovation Hub, 500 W. Overland Drive

Application Requirements

-Must be a high school student or recent grad ages 16 – 18 years old

-Must be enrolled or have graduated from high school in the Ysleta Independent School District

-Must complete the Fab Tech application by Friday, December 22nd @ 11:59 PM MST
