Roster for 2nd Annual San Jose Sharks “Legends Game” Announced

Scrimmage To Take Place Following Sharks Fan Fest 2018 presented by Bay Area BMW Centers on Sun. Sept. 23 at SAP Center and Will Feature Dan Boyle, Devin Setoguchi, Jeff Friesen, Mike Ricci and Many More!

SAN JOSE, CA – The San Jose Sharks (@SanJoseSharks), in conjunction with the Sharks Alumni Foundation, today announced updated rosters for the second annual “Legends Game,” which will take place on Sun., Sept. 23 at SAP Center at San Jose (@SAPCenter) following the Sharks Fan Fest 2018 presented by Bay Area BMW Centers (#SJSharksFest). Line-up introductions will start at 5 p.m.
Some of the most familiar and popular players in franchise history will return to the SAP Center ice, competing in a scrimmage game that will also feature the Sharks and Barracuda coaching staffs, along with local celebrities.
Sharks alumni scheduled to appear include Jamie Baker, Dan Boyle, Jeff Friesen, Scott Hannan, Bryan Marchment, Kyle McLaren, Douglas Murray, Scott Parker, Tom Pederson, Mike Ricci, Devin Setoguchi, Mark Smith and Rob Zettler (also current Sharks assistant coach).
Also participating are:
- Sharks Coaches Peter DeBoer, Steve Spott, Dave Barr and Johan Hedberg
- Barracuda Coaches Roy Sommer, Jimmy Bonneau and Michael Chiasson
- Sharks Color Commentator Bret Hedican and Barracuda Play-by-Play Announcer Nick Nollenberger
- Sharks Director of Scouting Doug Wilson Jr, Video Coach Dan Darrow and Pro Scouting Analyst Charlie Townsend
- KTVU Evening News Anchor Frank Somerville
Sharks Fan Fest 2018 presented by Bay Area BMW Centers will feature players and coaches from the San Jose Sharks and San Jose Barracuda, along with many Sharks alumni, team broadcasters and personalities participating in a variety of activities, including autograph sessions, photo booths, moderated Q & A sessions on the main stage and much more. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Sharks Foundation
Other fan activities include the opportunity to take photos at center ice and under the Shark Head, face painting, a photo booth, interactive displays and sign making station and a Kid’s Zone
On the SAP Center concourse, arena concession stands will be open for food and beverages. In addition, the Sharks Store will be open, along with several merchandise stands, offering fans all the latest Sharks gear.
Outside SAP Center the Sharks Foundation will host Tank Tailgate on N. Autumn Street from Noon-4:00 p.m. for guests 21 years of age and older. The space will feature a rotation of Sharks players pouring limited beer samples from Lagunitas, Ballast Point, Lost Coast, Drake’s, Sierra Nevada and MillerCoors. All guests will receive a reusable Sharks-themed red solo cup to commemorate the occasion and a $5 food credit to use inside the space with the Gold Rush Eatery or Tuk Tuk food trucks. The space will include music, raffles, a variety of lawn games and a complimentary photo booth. Tank Tailgate tickets double as Fan Fest tickets, granting access inside SAP Center for other activities and the Sharks alumni Legends Game at 5:00 p.m.
