DETROIT – Feb. 28, 2019 – Blast Zone! Tournament , a modern take on competitive bomb-throwing arena games, brings frantic fun to PlayStation 4 and Steam today while Xbox One joins the fray in April.
Victory Lap Games , a team of AAA veterans with credits on Rachet & Clank 3and Resistance: Fall of Man , takes aim at classic Bomberman -style gameplay and launches it into the future with highly polished, contemporary additions.Blast Zone! Matches are brought to life via a vibrant cartoon style courtesy of John Wu , a former concept artist at Sony Computer Entertainment of America who worked on Ratchet & Clank , God of War III, PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale andTwisted Metal.
PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X versions of Blast Zone! Tournament boast 4K HD and 60 FPS for an even sweeter visual treat. The action reaches pulse-pounding heights with a best-in-class EDM soundtrack that complements the rapid pace and explosive kills perfectly.
