Colbie Caillat Featuring Gone West to Headline at 2019 Gilroy Garlic Festival

April 30, 2019 (Gilroy, CA): For the first time in its 41-year history, the Gilroy Garlic Festival is welcoming a Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum-selling singer/songwriter to perform live at the Festival. Colbie Caillat, who has sold over 10 million singles worldwide, will appear with her new band Gone West on the Amphitheater Stage on Saturday, July 27.

Gone West is a new Nashville-based band featuring two-time Grammy Award Winner Colbie Caillat, multi-platinum singer/songwriter Jason Reeves, four-time Hawaii Music Award Winner Justin Kawika Young, and ACM and CMT nominated artist Nelly Joy. The group debuted at the Grand Ole Opry in October 2018 and recently released a debut EP, Tides, through Grayscale Entertainment.

Gilroy Garlic Festival President Shawn Keck said, “It’s very exciting to present world-famous musicians of this caliber. We can’t wait to hear Colbie Caillat featuring Gone West live on the Amphitheater Stage! The Festival benefits many community nonprofits, and we know this addition will make an even bigger impact.”

The live concert starts at 6:00 pm and is included in the price of Festival admission. The grounds will remain open until 8:00 pm on Saturday evening so that guests can enjoy the show and everything the Festival has to offer.

Hailing from Malibu, California, Colbie Caillat has released six albums, including her 2007 double-platinum debut album Coco. Caillat also recorded a duet with Jason Mraz, “Lucky,” which won a Grammy Award. She has sold over six million albums and over 10 million singles worldwide. The debut LP of her new band, Gone West, features the eponymous single “Gone West” and the bittersweet, harmony-rich “This Time.”
