GLOWHARD, Singapore’s first hard dance festival, presented by Soundstream, will be happening this Saturday, 5 November 2022 at The Coliseum™, Hard Rock Hotel Singapore, Resorts World™ Sentosa.

The hard dance festival introduces an alternative blend of electronic dance music genres to Singapore’s music scene. This year’s stellar line-up features globally renowned DJs such as Darren Styles, Dimatik and local artists, who will be making their grand debuts locally.

The inaugural edition of Legacy Music Festival in 2019 hosted 24,000 live audiences at Siloso Beach with globally renowned DJs such as Tiesto, Zedd, Don Diablo and Alok headlining the music festival.

After a three year-long hiatus from the pandemic, the revelry returns in full force, with a comprehensive selection of Hard House, Techno, and Hardcore music genres.

Taking audiences on a sensorial experience, Legacy GLOWHARD will showcase a mélange of specially curated soundtracks with an infusion of Asian music influences into the electronic music genre, along with spectacular user-interactive light displays made possible through Nebula.

Globally renowned UK DJ and producer of over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify Darren Styles will be taking the stage for the first time in Singapore, alongside Australian hard dance tastemaker Dimatik, and Singapore’s very own champion of 2008 DMC World DJ Championships Singapore DJ-producer Inquisitive. The festival will also spotlight up-and-coming local talents, including one of Singapore’s youngest self-taught hard dance music producers, 24-year old Atomix, who recently made his debut in 2019.

“We’ve been anticipating the comeback of our music festivals since 2019. Suffering the whiplash from concert cancellations due to erratic restriction changes, music festival goers are now back with revenge and ready to party hard. With hard style gaining popularity across the globe, we have the privilege of introducing this new style of music to the Singapore scene through GLOWHARD. More importantly, we are here to create memorable experiences for music lovers of the new era,” shares Andrew Teo, Festival Director of Legacy Music Festival.

This year, GLOWHARD has also upped the stakes for its music festivals, with Carlsberg, Bounceback and CardsPal as the official partners for the event. To top it off, Legacy has partnered with Soundstream to unveil exclusive NFTs during the festival that will unlock promotions and access to premiere music communities for festival goers. Backed by Clubbing in Asia, AOS Collective and AC Music Entertainment, the homegrown festival will be holding upcoming music festivals across the region including Resurgence presents Ferry Corsten in Malaysia, and Creamfields in Vietnam.
