After a successful tour of Korea and Spain, the universally renowned and acclaimed “Best Mariachi in the World,” Mariachi Vargas De Tecalitlán, today announced their 2023 Mexicano Desde La Raíz World Tour. Produced by Live Nation and Viva Music Group, the 10-city tour kicks off on April 14th at the William Saroyan Theater in Fresno, CA making stops across the U.S. in Los Angeles, Phoenix, New York and more before wrapping up in Vancouver, BC, at the Orpheum on May 28th.
Mexicano Desde La Raíz Tour also supports and celebrates their latest single, “Mi Mejor Error,” which is available on digital platforms and on YouTube.
“We are excited to return to the United States, a country that has always welcomed us warmly throughout every show we’ve performed there. In addition, we can’t wait to perform and share our new music with fans in the States,” said Carlos Martínez, director of Mariachi Vargas de Tecalitlán.
The Mexican folk ensemble of mariachi music founded in 1897 by Gaspar Vargas have since starred in more than 200 movies and recorded dozens of albums. Their musical style includes elements of various Spanish dances such as pasodobles, valse, bailables, polkas, and danzones. They have also collaborated with various artists including Juan Gabriel and Linda Ronstadt.
